When the clouds come down and hug the mountains, I feel I’m close to the heavens. As if this is my chance to let go of nonsense and open my mind to the earth’s whispers. All of the materials and shapes are within reach. Stories and music, colors and smells. Flocks of birds are flying towards a big truth, one that surrounds this planet as slowly as possible. As I absorb those notions in awe, I blink. Blink once, twice, a third time will scatter my dust and I will vanish.
